Dear Parents, Please be reminded that all families with a child born in 2000 or 2001 must have at least one parent attend one of the Speak Out (PRS) courses. There are currently three clinics to choose from. Sign up soon to assure a spot in the clinic that best suits your schedule. Email development@brdmha.com to book your spot now.
Also - Coaches, trainers, assistants and helpers, please be advised that in the past, the OMHA has given us a grace period to get properly accredited coaches, trainers and assistants in place. This year there will be no grace period. Everyone must have their coaching clinics up to date before October 15th to get our team rosters approved by the OMHA. REGISTRATION INCREASE
By way of information to our membership, please be advised that our registration increase from $500.00 to $550.00 is due to a number of reasons. Firstly, our increase in registration is directly related to the ice cost increase that has been handed to us by the Town of Lakeshore. Our ice bills will be higher than they were last year and therefore our costs have increased.
Further, the OMHA has strongly suggested that we have a contingency fund for the Association. For many, many years our organization was fortunate to have a ‘slush fund’ from Bingo monies. As we all know, the large Bingo revenue are a thing of the past and therefore we must all bear the costs as they increase.
The BRDMHA Board remains committed to keeping the cost of playing hockey affordable for everyone

To all house league coaches, and prospective house league coaches! The draft for Mites (D1), and Tykes (D2), will be held this Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the pavilion. The draft for Novice through Bantam, will be held next Thursday September 10, 2008, at 6:30 pm in the pavilion. All coaches will be contacted via phone, or email, prior to the draft. Midget draft will be held at a later date. Thank you!
